About Us

The same fundamental principles, from yesterday to today.

We were founded in 1982 on a single knitting machine. We are here today thanks to a long-tenured production team and to delivering the agreed hand-feel on schedule.

Our story
From our management
Sadık Ağca
Company Manager

We stand behind our commitments.

We began making knitted fabric in 1982. We were after two things then and we are after them now: cloth that matches the sample, and an order that ships on the date we gave. To avoid being late we have turned work down; once we take it, we do not half-promise. In this trade your name is lost the day a curled selvedge can no longer be corrected.

We are a family business; management works on the production floor. Most of the people who run the kettle and set the machines have been here for years. The one who teaches a newcomer is an old hand: which yarn does what at which temperature, when the cloth stands up and when it drapes — all of it is taught at the machine, not in a manual.

Good cloth alone is not enough. If the customer’s line is running, the fabric has to be on the dock on the day; the price clear from the start, no slippage. Our job is to hold the approved sample steady through bulk production and to deliver on the date we gave. The mill that manages this grows, which is why we brought every step under one roof, from yarn to dyed cloth. We spin our own polyester filament, too — the yarn is born in our own hands.

Why Fersan

The assurance a brand looks for.

We brought spinning, knitting, dyeing and finishing under one roof — because what a brand relies on is not only the fabric itself, but the promise kept on time and in the same hand-feel.

Yarn to fabric, no middleman

From spinning polyester yarn to dyed fabric, every step runs in our own facility — no intermediary, full traceability, responsibility in one hand.

The roll is the sample

With our own dye-house and laboratory we hold colour tone to tone; a batch that doesn’t match is not shipped.

Predictable lead times

Because the whole process runs under one roof, the sampling loop is short and the ship date is clear from the start.

Independently audited

With ten independent credentials and the test protocols of world-renowned brands, the ground sourcing and compliance teams look for is ready up front.

Vision

To make knitted fabric that matches the sample and ships on time; to stay inside the limits an independent certificate like OEKO-TEX sets, and to hold the same hand-feel batch after batch for the brands athletes trust.

Mission

To hit the weight, width and colour the customer asked for in one go — and to say so up front when we cannot. To plan around the customer’s ship date, not the kettle’s convenience, so the order never waits.

Quality policy

We do not discharge dyehouse water without treating it, and we keep skin-contact fabric inside the limits of OEKO-TEX Ref. 13.HTR.34221. If a batch is off-colour it goes back; it does not ship.

Core values

Four principles unchanged since 1982.

Honesty

We never promise a date we can’t keep; price and lead time are clear from the start.

Respect for people

Experienced operators train newcomers on the floor; knowledge transfer is a structured practice.

Contribution to society

We never discharge dyehouse water untreated; we answer to our environment and our neighbours.

No compromise on quality

The roll we ship matches the approved sample; no lot is released until it does.

Frequently asked questions.

Company & facility

When and where was Fersan Tekstil founded?

Fersan Tekstil is a family company founded in 1982 in Çorlu, Türkiye. Today its head office is in Beylikdüzü/İstanbul and its production factory is in Çorlu/Tekirdağ.

Is Fersan a fully integrated (vertical) manufacturer?

Yes. From spinning polyester yarn to knitting, dyeing, finishing and roll-winding, we run the entire process in our own facility in Çorlu, under one roof.

What exactly is Fersan’s specialism?

Polyester-based circular and warp-knitted fabric. We do not produce cotton or wovens; we run a narrow but deep programme of ten fabric families and thirty-nine fabrics. The expertise comes from that focus rather than from catalogue breadth.

What is your production capacity?

Our Çorlu factory produces around 1,350 tons of 100% polyester knit fabric a month under a 77,000 m² single roof. We work as one team of 410 across Beylikdüzü and Çorlu.

What does your machine park cover?

Around 250 machines: single-bed, double-bed (interlock/rib) and Raschel warp-knitting frames, plus HT jet and airflow dyeing machines, stenters and napping lines. Varying gauges and diameters let us knit the whole 60–500 g/m² band.

How large is your team?

We work as a single team of 410 people across Beylikdüzü and Çorlu. Knitting, dyeing, finishing, laboratory, planning and sales all sit inside the same company, so a buyer deals with one counterpart.

How is work divided between the head office and the factory?

The Beylikdüzü/İstanbul head office runs sales, sampling and customer communication; the Çorlu/Tekirdağ factory handles knitting, dyeing, finishing and dispatch. Sample approval moves through the office, bulk production through the mill.

Do you have a design and R&D team?

Yes. Our fabric development team works on brand-specific patterns, hand-feel and functional finishes; the path from proposal sample to lab-dip approval is completed in our own laboratory.

Can I visit the factory?

Yes, the Çorlu site is open to visits by appointment and you can see the knitting and dyeing lines in production. We also open the mill to your brand’s audit protocol or an independent third-party audit.

Where can I find the company’s legal name and registry details?

The legal title, MERSİS number, trade registry details and tax office are published on our Information Society Services page. The “Çorlu Branch” wording on certificates refers to the production site’s branch registration.

Commercial & assurance

Which certifications and audits do you hold?

Ten independent credentials: ISO 9001, ISO 10002, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, OEKO-TEX STeP, GRS and RCS for recycled content, and Higg FEM and FSLM for facility performance.

What concrete sustainability steps have you taken?

No dyehouse effluent is discharged untreated, resource management runs under ISO 14001 and energy is tracked under ISO 50001. Recycled production is documented through GRS and RCS chain of custody, and facility performance is measured with Higg FEM.

Who do you produce for?

With our own in-house laboratory and independent testing, we make performance knit fabric that meets the quality and test protocols of world-renowned sportswear brands. Our fabric is used in the collections of adidas, ASICS, Castore, COPA, DeFacto, Fila, FLO, H&M, Hoodrich, Jako, Kappa, Koton, LC Waikiki, Lumberjack, Macron, New Balance, Primark, Puma, Ruck&Maul, Skechers, Sportive, uhlsport, Umbro and Zara.

Do you name your reference brands?

No — because we sign non-disclosure agreements on brand-specific development, we refer to references without naming them. Instead we show, with documentation, which test protocols and quality standards we produce to.

What backs your quality and delivery commitment?

Because we run the chain end to end, a delivery promise does not depend on a subcontractor’s calendar. Typical time from order confirmation to dispatch is 3–4 weeks and quotation turnaround is 2 business days — these are the figures we actually quote, not marketing numbers.

Where do you ship?

We ship to Anatolia, Europe and Russia.

Why should I source from Türkiye?

Road freight from Thrace into Europe is markedly shorter than sea freight from the Far East, and the EU–Türkiye customs union removes the duty burden on textiles. The difference is felt most on small lots and fast repeat orders.

Do you enter into long-term supply agreements?

Yes. When a season plan and estimated yardage are shared, we can reserve yarn and dyeing capacity in advance; on repeat orders that both shortens lead time and makes colour consistency between lots easier to hold.

How do your HR and recruitment processes work?

Open positions and the application form are published on our Human Resources page. Worker health and safety is managed under ISO 45001, and working conditions are measured independently within the FSLM framework.

How do I get in touch for a partnership or a sample?

You can reach us through the sample-request form on our contact page or by email; we prepare samples matched to your request and submit them for your approval.

From sample to shipment — get in touch to begin.

We’ve woven by the same principles since 1982; reach out for partnership and supply enquiries.
