What is it?
Higg FEM (Facility Environmental Module) measures a facility’s environmental impact — water, energy, greenhouse gas, waste, chemistry, air emissions and wastewater — and is then independently verified. It is developed by Cascale (formerly the Sustainable Apparel Coalition) and run on the Worldly platform.
What it covers
A verified FEM shows the facility’s declared environmental data has been confirmed by a third party. Fersan’s most recent independently verified document covers the 2024 assessment. The self-assessment for the 2025 period is complete; independent verification of that period has not yet concluded. Both documents are downloadable below — each button states which is which.
Why it matters
It lets brands compare supplier environmental performance on a common scale and reduces the burden of separate audits.

Frequently asked questions
Your newest FEM file is dated 2025 but says "self-assessment", while the independently verified one is 2024 — which one should I rely on?
Our most recent independently verified FEM document is the 2024 FEM verification, and the “2024 · Independently verified” headline on this page refers to that file. The 2025 file is a self-assessment: the facility’s own declaration, not confirmed by a third party, and independent verification of that period has not yet concluded. Both are downloadable, and each button states which is which.
Can you share your FEM module with our brand account on Worldly — and what is your facility ID?
Our facility identifier is Worldly ID 148544, and worldly.io is the verification link we publish. On Worldly, module data moves between the facility and connected brand accounts through the platform itself; that ID is the identifier your account needs to match the facility. The 2024 independent verification and the 2025 self-assessment PDFs are also downloadable directly from this page.
What exactly does Higg FEM measure — doesn’t holding ISO 14001 already make FEM redundant?
Higg FEM measures water, energy, greenhouse gas, waste, chemistry, air emissions and wastewater data; it is developed by Cascale (formerly the Sustainable Apparel Coalition) and run on the Worldly platform. Our ISO 14001 certificate (EMS-008888, valid to 24.06.2027) certifies that an environmental management system exists and functions. FEM reports the numbers that system produces, on a scale comparable across facilities. Neither replaces the other.
