What is it?
ISO 14001 is the international environmental-management standard for systematically managing an organization’s environmental impact (water, energy, chemicals, waste, emissions). It is built on legal compliance and continual improvement.
What it covers
The scope covers the polyester fabric knitting and dyeing processes.
Why it matters
For a dye-house it confirms the environmental footprint is managed through an audited system — the basis for sustainability claims in a water- and chemical-intensive process.

Frequently asked questions
Does your ISO 14001 certificate prove your dyehouse wastewater is treated, or only that you have a management system?
Certificate EMS-008888 was issued by IQR International under IAS accreditation (MSCB-135), valid 25.06.2025–24.06.2027, with a scope of polyester fabric knitting and dyeing. ISO 14001 certifies a system, not a discharge value: it confirms that water, energy, chemicals, waste and emissions are managed against legal compliance and continual improvement. For a closer look at the chemical and environmental discipline of production, see our OEKO-TEX STeP report: STeP assesses the facility across six modules including chemical management and environmental performance; the facility meets ZDHC MRSL 3.1 requirements and the overall result is Level 2 of 3. STeP is also a facility assessment — it does not stand in for a specific discharge measurement result.
Does holding ISO 14001 mean your production is environmentally sustainable?
No. EMS-008888 (ISO 14001:2015) shows that environmental impacts across knitting and dyeing are managed through an audited system; certification is pass/fail and the certificate carries no score or threshold value. Measured environmental performance sits elsewhere: our Higg FEM assessment (Worldly ID 148544), whose most recent independently verified period is 2024. Energy is covered separately by our ISO 50001 certificate — ENMS-20.26/08653-0702, Avacert International — which is likewise a management-system certificate, not a score.
Does the ISO 14001 scope include the dyehouse, or only knitting?
It covers both. The scope line on EMS-008888 reads “activities of polyester fabric knitting and dyeing”; the holder is Fersan Tekstil Tic. ve San. Ltd. Şti. Çorlu Branch at Velimeşe OSB, Ergene / Tekirdağ. Spinning is not named on that line — the spinning facility appears under a separate TE identity (TE-00117311) on our GRS/RCS scope certificate.
