75/36 Textured Yarn

75/36 Textured Yarn — General lightweight wovens · linings · basic knits · shirtings. Body, durability and sheen; cost-effective.
The crispest hand in the range: 75 denier spread over only 36 filaments puts roughly 2.08 denier on each one. Thick filaments give the fabric body, abrasion resistance and a clean surface; micro softness and peach-skin character do not develop here. Boiling-water shrinkage of 3.0–5.0 with a high 22–32 crimp contraction means a fabric that recovers well on the stenter and holds its dimensions. It is used in lightweight wovens, linings, basic knits and shirtings — programmes where cost and durability come before hand. If you want softness at the same denier, 75/72 is the direct alternative.
