150/288 Ultra-Fine Microfilament Yarn — Peach-skin sportswear (track-suits, board-shorts) · micro-suede · microfiber cloths/towels · ultra-soft high-absorbency home textiles. Among the softest standard counts; superior cover and surface drying.

The finest filament in the catalogue at roughly 0.52 dpf. Splitting 150 denier across 288 filaments makes each fibre about one sixth the thickness of 150/48 at the same denier — this is where peach-skin and suede-like surfaces come from. The large surface area also strengthens capillary moisture transport. In return it is the most demanding yarn in the dyehouse, and because single-filament strength drops, tension control on the machine becomes critical. It shares the 150-denier band (15–25 crimp contraction, medium 30–45 points/m intermingle) but sits at the extreme end of that group in the hand.
