Manufacturing Programme

Polyester Fabric Manufacturer — Wholesale Orders, MOQ and Lead Time

Fersan Tekstil is a vertically integrated polyester knitted fabric manufacturer in Çorlu, Türkiye. This is an ordering page rather than a catalogue: it sets out how a polyester fabric order opens, the thresholds we work to, and how the calendar runs from sample to shipment. We work at 500–1,000 kg per colour and ship typically 3–4 weeks after order confirmation.

Buying polyester fabric does not end with picking a name from a catalogue; it begins when the request becomes measurable. With us an order opens on five lines: the construction (jersey, interlock, piqué, mesh, fleece), the weight window in g/m², the composition and elastane share, the finish expected and the certificates required. Once those five lines exist, two suppliers’ samples become comparable for the first time — and a quotation lands on a real number.

The whole chain turns under one roof: from our own textured filament to knitting, from dyeing to heat-setting and dispatch. That keeps colour consistency and lead time on a single calendar; what an added intermediary usually costs is not days but clarity about who is accountable. We produce for Western European and Russian/CIS markets and work regularly to the test standards of European sports and apparel brands.

The load-bearing constructions of this programme

Polyester Single Jersey

Single jersey

80–200 g/m²

In this application
The programme’s carrier: a single-bed, light, even-faced base knit — from tees to lining.
Composition
100% polyester (PES); combed/ring yarn by quality, recycled (rPET) version available.

Polyester Interlock

Interlock (double-knit)

80–260 g/m²

In this application
The stable double-bed base: identical faces, no curling, the flattest ground for sublimation.
Composition
100% polyester (e.g. 75D/72f textured filament yarn); rPET common, elastane-free.

Polyester Piqué

Piqué

150–280 g/m²

In this application
With its structured face, the classic of polos and corporate tops; the jacquard version is patterned.
Composition
100% polyester (typical); microfilament yarn for sublimation lustre.

Sports Net / Eyelet Mesh

Sports net / eyelet mesh

100–170 g/m²

In this application
The far end of ventilation: an open, perforated net with the highest air permeability.
Composition
100% polyester (mechanical give) or, for real stretch, a ~88–92% PES / 8–12% elastane variant.

Polar Fleece

Polar fleece

180–400 g/m²

In this application
A napped surface that traps heat; the highest insulation for its weight.
Composition
100% polyester (recycled rPET versions common).

Microfiber Polyester Knit

Microfiber polyester knit

85–180 g/m²

In this application
Sub-denier filament: silky hand, high opacity, an even printing face.
Composition
100% polyester microfiber — filament fineness below 1 denier (microdenier, ~0.5 dpf); far finer than standard PES (1.5–4 dpf).

Weight windows come from catalogue data; final specs are confirmed on a sample.

The calendar of an order

Once an enquiry arrives the sequence is: construction and weight window are settled, colour is approved by lab dip, a knitting trial is run where needed, production opens, and dimensional stability, perspiration and wash fastness and pilling are reported per order. Typical lead time from order confirmation to shipment is 3–4 weeks; we work EXW, FOB or DAP. Below the 500–1,000 kg per colour window, trial yardage is considered only for development projects and is discussed separately. We answer enquiries within two working days.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for wholesale polyester fabric?

It runs 500–1,000 kg per colour, with the exact figure settled in the quotation according to the fabric and the shade. Against supply chains that quote by the tonne, that is a markedly lower entry threshold for a brand developing a collection.

What drives the price of polyester fabric?

Weight alone does not set it. Yarn type (standard DTY, microfilament, cationic, rPET), knit construction and machine type, colour (deep shades need a longer dye cycle), the finish package and order volume all work together. A quotation is therefore only meaningful once construction, weight, composition and finish are written down.

Can I get a sample?

Yes. Swatches and samples of running qualities are sent; for project-specific development, colour is approved by lab dip and a knitting trial is run where needed. Sampling and lab dips sit outside the MOQ threshold.

Which certifications do you produce under?

Production runs on OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified inputs and the recycled base is within GRS scope. On the facility side we hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 plus OEKO-TEX STeP; the test reports you require are written into the quotation.

Do you produce woven polyester fabric?

No. Our programme is knitted polyester: jersey, interlock, piqué, rib, French terry, three-thread fleece, mesh, fleece and raschel. Woven articles such as satin, poplin and chiffon are not ours — saying so at the outset protects both sides’ time.

Do you produce recycled (rPET) fabric?

Yes, the same constructions are knitted from GRS-certified rPET yarn. No difference is expected in the cloth; the difference is in the paperwork — a recycled-content claim only means something within a chain of custody.
